Our staff comprises a very diverse group of talents and interests which often extend beyond the scope of our day-to-day work. And, it is often the case that a project's arc from design through construction will introduce us to a design idea, a construction technique, a material or system that we can't use just then, but want to save for another time when the application is right.

As an outlet for the use of such information and our penchant for experimentation, we engage in pro-bono work, speculative and virtual projects, and competitions. We do this work in-house and in collaboration with partners from various backgrounds, skill sets, and constituencies.
